What will we be eating at WFF26?

The Welsh Fruit Festival is a celebration of the fruit-based low fat raw vegan diet. All the food and drink provided will be 100% raw, vegan, and soya and gluten-free. Most of the calories will come from fruit, with smaller amounts from vegetables, nuts and seeds.

The fruit provided will be a mixture of locally grown and imported/tropical varieties. The Welsh Fruit Festival is currently seeking to partner with local farmers to minimise our food miles for all produce-types that grow in the North Wales region.

Unfortunately it will not be possible to be 100% organic or 100% plastic-free, but we will endeavour to include as much organic as possible and to minimise our plastic waste. All food waste will be composted on the Trigonos site.

Allergens that might be present include nuts (no peanuts), seeds (including sesame), celery and strawberries. Please indicate on your booking form if you are allergic to any of these, or any other plant-based allergens.

We would also politely ask you to appreciate that although we understand that not all those who come to the Welsh Fruit Festival are raw, or vegan, in their everyday lives, as a group we agree to maintain this special space for ourselves and for each other for the duration of the festival. Please do not consume cooked foods or animal products in front of other attendees, and be mindful of other attendees if and when you choose to talk about these things. This is respectful to those who do eat this way, and for whom it may be rare to experience a fully supportive social space, and it helps those who are in transition, or who wish to experience the health benefits of this dietary approach by doing it 100% for this period of time, to achieve their aims. Thank you :-)

What people are saying

I love going to fruit festivals because it’s all about doing what I enjoy most: preparing food and sharing it with others. Seeing people genuinely enjoy what I’ve made is incredibly rewarding. On top of that, fruit festivals are full of like-minded people who share the same passion, which makes the atmosphere inspiring, relaxed, and fun. (Tineke)

My vegan journey started with my very first FRUIT FESTIVAL in 2022. WFF26 will be my 3rd. I love to MEET like-minded people and improve my HEALTH.

I love the food, and the UNDERSTANDING I gain at lectures & food-demonstrations, plus escaping into beautiful surroundings in NATURE. (Liesbeth)

I have only been to two fruit festivals but I have loved everything - from meeting like-minded people, making new friends, doing more exercise and eating wonderful meals and trying out exotic fruits. I have been fully raw since July 2024! (Judy)

Children’s Menu

The Welsh Fruit Festival seeks to be an inclusive and family friendly event, and as such we understand that not all children will be used to the kind of food served on the buffet, and that children have different nutritional needs. Please speak to us about your family’s needs and we will do our best to ensure that everyone is well fed! There are lots of ways to make healthy food fun and palatable for children. Here are a few of them…

Grown-up Menu

N.B. Please note that because raw food needs to be bought in fresh, does not store for long, and ripens at sometimes unpredictable rates, the exact nature of the food provided will depend on the availability of fresh, ripe produce on the day of serving. Last-minute changes may be made to the menu based on this as well as on the creativity and flair of the chef and kitchen team! The menu below is provided as a guide only...
